Between the 24th of July and the 6th of August a team of 8 SEEDS volunteers cycled through the south of Iceland.

Between the days 11th and 25th of July, 8 volunteers from Portugal, Germany, Hungary, United Kingdom, Spain, and Latvia volunteered in a charming old house for those with mental health problems people in Reykjavik.

When 9 volunteers from Spain, Belgium, UK, USA, Russia and Latvia stepped into the minivan that transported them to their workcamp location, they were actually stepping into a time machine!

SEEDS 24. Þórshöfn & Langanes - Happy days festivities!

For the fifth time this year, the community of Þórshöfn and the Langanes Peninsula welcomed a group of SEEDS volunteers to help with local projects.
From the 4th to the 19th of July, 7 volunteers from Austria, Spain, Canada, Norway, Estonia, and Germany planted and cultivated trees, cleaned. . .

Nine SEEDS volunteers spent two amazing weeks in the Blue Mountains of Iceland. We were real soldiers in the war against erosion; we spread grass seed all across the Blue Mountain ski slopes to promote vegetation growth.
One of the most unique experiences of our workcamp was acting as extras. . .

A group of 9 volunteers from 6 different countries - UK, USA, France, Spain, Romania, and Latvia spent 2 amazing weeks in 2 different places in Iceland.

SEEDS 30. Stykkishólmur in the Snæfellsnes peninsula

The main mission of this work camp was to help locals preserve the green areas in the town of Stykkishólmur. We cut and gathered grass, gardened, cut lupins (an invasive species in Iceland), and painted. 5 volunteers from Portugal, Israel, Iceland, Germany, and Latvia did all of this work!

On the 16th of June, 7 volunteers began their 12-hour trip from Reykjavik to the home of the midnight sun: The Langanes peninsula. Over the following 2 weeks, we gained a great appreciation for Icelandic nature, culture and simple living.
