From the 30th of June til the 10th of July participants from all around Europe and Central America took part in the Between Glaciers and Lava camp. They stayed in the Kolsstaðir Farm, close to Langjökull Glacier.

From the 15th till the 29th of June a workcamp in the beautiful town Seyðisfjörður in the eastfjords took place. The initial idea of this workcamp was to assist a local artist in the preparation of an art course for kids. Since this plan couldn’t be realized we assisted the local school in genera. . .

The revegetation camp lasted from the 8th til the 22nd of June 2018. Volunteers were staying in the town of Hafnarfjörður, a place famous from its summer viking festival.

This workcamp was set in the stunning highlands between two glaciers in central Iceland. The area is famous for its breathtaking landscapes, snowy mountains and geothermal area.

SEEDS 036. Outdoor Work on the South Shore

Main task of this camp was to support a local farm in their endeavour to afforest the surroundings. Over the timespan of ten days the volunteers planted over 6000 trees on the slope of a hill behind the farm.
