Climate Strike March

Today our volunteers from China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, South Korea and Spain, took part in the climate strike in Reykjavik.
They joined the protest at Austurvollur square, the main public square in the city.

This weekend was the kick off start for our Photography, and Environment & Sustainability learning camps!
On the first day, Friday, we joined the Climate Strike protest, a movement inspired and motivated by Greta Thunberg’s activism… We weren’t even bothered about the rainy weather!

Currently, SEEDS is hosting an Environmentally Aware camp with participants from China, South Korea, and Taiwan.
In the last few days we have organised an urban Clean-Up around Reykjavik; we went on the Golden Circle excursion; we visited the Whales of Iceland museum; we went on a guided tour. . .

We have just finished another successful Photomarathon camp!
For this time, we had participants from China, Germany, Japan, Russia, South Korea, Switzerland, and Taiwan.
This camp started on the first day of the Winter Lights Festival which is an annual event that brings life to Rey. . .

The past week we took our SEEDS Environmentally Aware volunteers to visit the Reykjavik Tool Library, a great new project in Iceland that promotes circular economy.
We hope we're getting more and more people inspired to reduce, reuse and repair!
